Bensalem Police took an armed robber off the streets. On July 31,2023,  a man was taking money from his account, using an ATM, on the 2300 block of Street Road. He noticed a black male standing behind him.

When he was finished, the victim got on his bicycle and drove away. Within a few minutes, the same male who was behind him, was now confronting him with a gun. He put it to the victims head and said “Give me all your money or I’ll kill you”.

The victim handed over $1000.00 in cash and the robber left in his grey Nissan Altima. . Police arrived and got to work.

Using cameras and other technology, police were able to track the Altima to Parx Casino where the male, identified as Antwan Clayton Jones, 42 was inside. He had changed his clothes. In spite of that, he was quickly arrested for allegedly committing the robbery.

The vehicle was a rental car and Jones was from Ellenville New York.  Police got a search warrant for the car and found a loaded gun, a change of clothes that matched those used in the robbery and some marijuana.

Antwan Jones was charged with Robbery, Terroristic Threats, and related offenses. He was arraigned by District Justice Stacy Wertman and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $250,000 bail.
