Lennon Brothers Identified As Person Of Interest In Mass Shooting In Philadelphia

Philadelphia Police are looking for two males to speak with them about the quadruple shooting that took place April 28,2023, on the 5900 block of Palmetto Street. Police are not calling them suspects but “Persons of Interest”. They have not been able to locate them. Two teenagers who brought their friend to Jefferson Hospital Frankford Division have been arrested and charged with firearm violations. The Ford Edge they brought their friend to the hospital in had a gun in it. They are 15 and 16 years old.
These two might have something to do with the actual shooting, police said. Taj Lennon is 15 years old. His older brother is Tyree and police said they are from the general area. They did not give a street nor a school location for Taj, that he might be attending.
Killed were :
Victim #1: Malik Ballard, 17/M, from the 5200 block of Castor Avenue
Victim #2: Khalif Frezghi, 18/M, from the 100 block of East Pleasant Street
Victim #3: Salah Fleming, 14/M, from the 2000 block of West Montgomery Avenue
