Woman Shot To Death In Far Northeast Philly

Philadelphia Police took a 25 year old female into custody early this morning, after she allegedly shot another female to death on the 2400 block of Welsh Rd. This happened just after 1:15 AM.
Police arrived and found the woman shot multiple times and scooped her to Jefferson Hospital, Torresdale Division, where she was pronounced dead at 4:46 AM. Police did not give a motive for the shooting and they did not notify the next of kin of the victim. The suspect has not been formally charged. A weapon was recovered, police said.
